# How do I access the Sound Capsules settings?
## The Sound Capsule has a Control Panel. This guide will show you how to access it.
**How to open the Control Panel**
Step-by-step instructions:
**Step 1**
On the Space Recorder, press and hold the "V" button (downward arrow) for about 5 seconds. Release the button once the control panel appears.
**Step 2**
In the Control Panel, navigate by using the arrow up and down buttons, and use the record button to make a selection.
**Step 3**
To exit the Control Panel, navigate to "Exit control panel" using the arrow up and down buttons, and select by pressing the record button.
