Stellar Mic's are wirelessly connected to the Space Recorder and can typically be up to 10 meters away before disconnecting, depending on the recording environment. They can record up to 45 minutes when disconnected, allowing data transfer to the Space Recorder when reunited. This feature primarily ensures uninterrupted recording in case of interference in the wireless connection, and should only be seen as a safety feature.
