How long is the battery duration of my Sound Capsule?

Battery duration: Stellar Mics

A fully charged Stellar Mic can record for over 8 hours, and in optimal conditions, up to 12 hours on a single charge. They recharge quickly when docked. 

Battery duration: Space Recorder

A fully charged Space Recorder can record for over 8 hours, depending on conditions. If recording extensively in a day, re-dock the Space Recorder and Stellar Mics between recordings. Alternatively keep a portable power bank handy for topping up the Space Recorder during recordings or connect to a power adaptor if possible. Please note that placing the Space Recorder in the dock during a recording will affect the audio quality and spatial processing.

Battery duration: Charging case

The Charging Case provides an additional 10+ hours of recording time and can fully recharge the Space Recorder and all four Stellar Mics. When low on battery, it enters “reserve power” mode, blinking orange, and prioritizing docking and sleep status.
