Is it possible to record with more than one Sound Capsule at once?

Yes, multiple Sound Capsules can be used simultaneously, as demonstrated by the “Love & Darkness” series of the “Tableread” podcast in which five Sound Capsules were used to record 20 voices. Currently it is not possible to synchronize recordings across multiple Sound Capsules automatically. Therefore, we recommend using a “clap” at the start of recording, like in film production, to place a marker for later manual synchronization. A couple of other tips:

• Mark each Sound Capsule and its Stellar Mics with a color code, and each Stellar Mic with the speaker’s name for easy identification
• Keep Stellar Mics close to their respective Space Recorder for optimal recording.
