My recording is not uploaded, what do I do?

Check the Space Recorder display for pending uploads, and ensure you are connected to WiFi. Verify user and workspace settings in the Nomono Companion app, as described below. For assistance, contact support@nomono.co or fill out this form.


Users may have access to one or more workspaces. To identify the workspace where your recordings are being uploaded, refer to the bottom right corner of the Space Recorder display, as shown here.


If you wish to modify the workspace for your uploads, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Companion app on your phone.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Nearby devices’ menu.
  3. Tap on your user icon located in the top right corner to access account settings.
  4. Select ‘Preferred workspace – manual’.
  5. Choose your desired workspace for uploading recordings.

Please note, the active user account on your Sound Capsule and Companion app may differ from the user account in the Nomono Cloud.


To determine the user account associated with your Sound Capsule:

  1. Open the Companion app on your phone.
  2. Navigate to the ‘Nearby devices’ menu.
  3. Tap on your user icon located in the top right corner.
  4. Find your user email in the field ‘email’.
  5. Use this email to log into Nomono Cloud on your computer. Remember to check the ‘From Sound Capsule’ folder across all workspaces.
