      What do the different download options mean?

      Mix: Combines audio from all tracks into one stereo file. Use this for direct uploads to podcast platforms. Note:

      • If your recording contains one track only, then the mix option will not be available.
      • Mix recordings from the Sound Capsule will include the tracks from the Stellar Mics but not the ambience track from the Space Recorder.

      Tracks: Individual audio files, one per track, for further editing in external software. Download as WAV for high quality and flexibility. Note:

      • Recordings from the Sound Capsule will include a file per active Stellar Mic.
      • This option will not include the ambience track from the Space Recorder.
      Ambisonics B-format: Spatial audio file from the Space Recorder’s built-in mics, providing immersive ambient sound. Available only in WAV format for advanced editing needs.
