      Why is Nomono Cloud Asking Me to Transfer My Workspaces?

      Learn about the latest changes to Nomono Cloud and what steps you may need to take

      Background

      Up until now, November 2024, Nomono Cloud has been in Public Beta. This has meant that Nomono allowed users to access all features, free of charge. The Public Beta has come to an end as of late November 2024, and users may now need to make some changes to their setup in order to comply with the new subscription structure. 

      Do I Need to Make Any Changes?

      If you haven’t received any instructions to make changes, that’s great news! It means your current usage fits within the limits of our free Starter Plan.

      Why Am I Being Asked to Transfer My Workspaces?

      Previously, Nomono Cloud allowed multiple workspaces to be associated with a single user account without restrictions. Under the new subscription structure, each account now supports only one free workspace.

      Follow the step-by-step guide below which will guide you through the transfer process.

      Important: You may need to change the destination workspace on your Sound Capsule after completing the process. Follow this guide to identify and learn how to change the workspace associated with your Sound Capsule

      Step-by-step guide:

      Note: You will not loose any audio. This process only relocates additional workspaces as folders inside your destination workspace. 

      Step 1 - Start the transfer process

      To start the transfer process, press Learn more and on the next page take a look at the overview of all your current workspaces.

      If you want to go back later and find the workspace transfer menu, you may do so from within the workspace settings. Go to General and scroll down to the bottom. Press Transfer workspace and follow the steps.

      Step 2 - Select a workspace to transfer and it's destination

      You must now select a workspace that you wish to continue using, and select one of your additional workspaces to be transferred into this one. 

      Note: You may only transfer one workspace at a time. Repeat the process if you have several workplaces that need to be transferred.

      Once you have made your selections, press Transfer workspace.

      To confirm your choices and complete the process, press Confirm and transfer.

      Repeat the process until all your workspaces are combined into one. 

      Step 3 - Carry on working

      You will now see that all your workspaces have been transferred and converted into folders, located in the sidebar on the left. At the very top is the name of your only current workspace, and below are your previous additional workspaces.
