My Sound Capsule is not responding, what do I do?

If your Sound Capsule is unresponsive, it may be due to a temporary system glitch or a charging issue. Before attempting a Hard Reset, ensure that your device is properly charged. If the issue persists, performing a Hard Reset can help reboot the system, clearing any stuck processes or minor bugs without affecting your recordings.

Important: Do not initiate a Hard Reset while recording, as this will interrupt and fail to save the ongoing recording.

Follow the steps below to check your charging setup and reset your device if necessary.

To charge your Space Recorder:

  1. Undock your Space Recorder
  2. Insert a USB cable directly into the Space Recorder, and connect the other end to a suitable charger.

To perform a hard reset:

  1. Ensure the Space Recorder is undocked from the charging case and not connected to a USB cable.
  2. Press and hold the “V” and “O” buttons (arrow down and record) for about 15 seconds, until you notice a change on the Space Recorder display.
